Here is my completed oil painting of an antique saddle horn. This painting is 5" x 7". Now that I have completed two small paintings using a glazing technique, I am ready to do a larger painting. My next subject will be a life-size 1851 Navy Colt Revolver. The revolver is in the collection of the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco, Texas. I was given special permission to examine and photograph this revolver.

Pitcher in Mars Red
To bid on this painting, click here.
I just finished this 6"x6" oil painting. I had an extra large tube of Mars Red and I wanted to see if I could develop a still life around that color. I set up the still life in my studio with a background color of something close to that color.

Bananas for Three
This painting is available for sale on my website. www.CERNOSEK.com
This is an oil painting on canvas panel. The background color is more grey than it appears in this photo. I need to learn how to use Photoshop to adjust the color.
